Ondo Governor, Aiyedatiwa Dissolves State Executive Council, Sacks All Akeredolu’s Aides

All former aides of late Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu have been sacked.

They were sacked by the new Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa following the dissolution of the State Executive Council, with immediate effect.

Aiyedatiwa also sacked all Senior Special Assistants, SSAs, and Special Assistants, SAs.

The governor took over the reins of leadership in the state following the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

Recall that Akeredolu died on December 27, 2023, at a German hospital following a protracted illness.

Burial arrangement by his family said Akeredolu’s funeral rites would begin from February 15 to February. 25 in Ibadan, Akure and Owo.
