Transfer: Chelsea to sign Bayern star for Pochettino

Chelsea are considering signing Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies in a bid to bolster their manager Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.

According to Football London, Chelsea are keeping tabs on Davies and are plotting a move for the 23-year-old, who is also a target for Real Madrid.

The report added that the Premier League West London club are reportedly ready to go all out for the Canadian left-back in the summer.

Davies’ current contract with Bayern Munich will run out at the end of the 2024-25 season.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have struggled on the left side of the defense recently.

Ben Chilwell, who is their undisputed first-choice, has suffered relentless injury issues in recent months.

Ian Maatsen, on the other hand, joined Borussia Dortmund on loan last week and his move could become permanent at the end of the season.

Marc Cucurella, meanwhile, is also injured at the moment.
