NPFL reschedules Rivers United versus Akwa United tie again
The Nigeria Premier Football League has rescheduled the matchday 18 fixture between Rivers United and Akwa United.
The encounter was originally fixed for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Sunday 14th January, 2024.
The game will now hold on Tuesday 16th, January at the same venue.
The encounter is billed to kick-start at 4pm.
The Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi regretted any inconveniences the change in date might have caused both teams.
Rivers United suffered a 3-2 defeat against Plateau United in their rescheduled matchday 10 fixture on Wednesday in Jos.
While Akwa United moved out of the relegation zone following a 1-0.home win against Abia Warriors last weekend.
