YUMSUK academic calendar, 2023/2024 session

This is to inform all students of the Yusuf Mataima Sule University, Kano that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session. The schedule of important events for the session are as follows;

FIRST SEMESTER

Monday, 12th - Sunday, 24th February, 2024: Registration for fresh students

Sunday, 17th - Sunday, 24th February, 2024: Registration for returning students

Monday, 26th February, 2024: Commencement of first semester lectures

Monday, 4th March, 2024: Matriculation Ceremony for new students

Monday, 11th - Saturday, 16th March, 2024: Orientation for new students to be conducted by University Faculties and Departments

Saturday, 25th - Friday, 30th May, 2024: Revision

Monday, 3rd - Saturday, 22nd June, 2024: First Semester Examinations

Monday, 24th June, 2024 - Saturday, 31st August, 2024: First Semester Break

SECOND SEMESTER

Monday, 2nd September, 2024: Commencement of second semester lectures

Monday, 14th - Saturday, 19th October, 2024: Mid-Semester Break

Monday, 4th - Saturday, 9th November, 2024: Revision

Monday, 11 - Saturday, 30th November, 2024: Second Semester Examinations

Saturday, 30th November, 2024: End of 2023/2024 Academic Session

Monday, 17th February, 2024: Commencement of 2024/2025 Academic Session.
