EPL: Danger to everyone – Owen speaks on title race after Man City beat Everton

Former Liverpool striker, Michael Owen has claimed Manchester City are “a danger” to everyone in the Premier League title race.

Owen was speaking on Amazon Prime, after City came from behind to defeat Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park.

According to him, every other title contender will be waiting to see Pep Guardiola’s men drop points.

“The real team that is going to be the big danger to everyone is Manchester City. Everyone wants to watch City drop points.

“That would have been a dagger in the hearts [of the title contenders], especially as Everton had the lead.

“They are certainly not giving it away lightly,” Owen said.

The result saw City climb back into the top four places and are now five points behind leaders Liverpool, but with one game in hand.
