This is to inform the general public that Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo has commenced post-UTME screening exercise for the 2023/2024 academic session.

GENERAL UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The admission requirements for Bachelor’s Degree Programme for both UTME and Direct Entry Candidates are as follows:

FOR UTME 4-YEAR PROGRAMME

WAEC/NECO Senior School Certificate (SSC), General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O’Level), or their equivalents with credits in five (5) subjects obtained at not more than two sittings. National Technical Certificate/National Business Certificate (NTC/NBC) is acceptable for Vocational courses only

A credit in O’Level English language is required for all courses

SPECIAL COURSES REQUIREMENTS

• A credit in O’Level Mathematics is required for all Sciences, Vocational and Technical and Social Science-based courses.

• Credit in Literature in English is required for English Language.

• A credit in at least one science subject is required for Mathematics.

• Candidates wishing to study Educational Management should have obtained credit in English Language, Mathematics and Economics at the Ordinary Level.

• Credits in any two (2) of Geography, Economics, Government, Commerce, Christian Religious Knowledge, Islamic Religious Knowledge, History, and Yoruba are acceptable for the study of Social Studies.

• Candidates wishing to study Counselling Psychology with teaching subject options in science and social sciences must have credit in Mathematics.

To secure admission for the session, Candidates must carefully follow the application procedures:

1. Change of University Choice:

Applicants are required to change their previous choice of University to Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo on JAMB portal.

Candidate should note that there is no admission for Direct Entry this 2023/24 Academic session

2. Eligibility

Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, will only admit candidates who possess credit passes in at least five relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sitting in SSCE/NECO. 

Candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with O’Level requirements and the UTME subject combination for their programme of choice. Check the University website for information

3. Method of Application:

            Candidates are required to visit the University website LINK

4. Submission of Application:

• Candidates should note that post UTME screening fee is N 2,000.00

5. Minimum Cut-Off Mark:

• The University’s minimum acceptable cut-off mark for admission is as indicated on the University website. Check Here

6. Notification of Admissions:

• Successful candidates who have been shortlisted will be displayed on the University website and those offered admission will be contacted formally through JAMB.
