EPL: Arteta singles out three Arsenal players after 1-1 draw with Liverpool

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has singled out three of his players for praise, following their 1-1 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

Gabriel Magalhaes headed the Gunners in front, but Mohamed Salah equalized before the first half ended.

The result means Arteta’s men will be top of the Premier League table on Christmas Day.

Arteta has now hailed Gabriel, his centre-back partner William Saliba and midfielder Declan Rice.

“Those three were phenomenal. But I think the whole team as well and how we step up to the level that they put today is one of the best Liverpools I’ve seen this year.

“They made life really difficult. The game became really, really chaotic, the crowd provokes that as well but we handled the situation really well,” Arteta told reporters.
