Serie A: Osimhen will sign new Napoli contract before Xmas – Romano

Authoritative transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Victor Osimhen will sign a contract extension with Napoli before Christmas.

Osimhen and the Serie A champions have reached agreement on a deal as revealed recently by the club’s president Aurelio de Laurentiis.

The Nigeria international will pen a one-year extension with a release clause set between €130-140m.

The forward’s previous contract was expected to expire in 2025.

The 24-year-old will also get a pay rise.

“The agreement between Napoli and Victor Osimhen on new deal is 100% done and confirmed,” Romano wrote on his X account.

“It will be sealed before Christmas, it’s imminent.”

The Nigeria international has scored seven goals in 14 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.
