Transfer: Nwabili linked with Belgian club, Union St Gilloise

Nigeria goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabili has been linked with a move to Belgian Pro League outfit, Union St Gilloise.

The Chippa United shot stopper has been one of the top performers in the South African top-flight this season.

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro recently visited him in South Africa.

The 27-year-old has been named in Nigeria’s provisional squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

According to reports emanating from South Africa, Union St Gilloise want him to replace Maxime Wensenns, who has been linked with a move to Turkey.

Nwabili joined Chippa United from Nigeria Premier Football League outfit, Lobi Stars, last year.
