EPL: Man Utd still have players I warned them about – Mourinho

Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has claimed that some of the Manchester United players and staff he warned the Premier League club about are still around.

According to Mourinho, he told senior officials that there were people they needed to get rid of, if they want to succeed.

The Portuguese was in charge at Old Trafford between 2016 and 2018.

Mourinho won the Europa League and Carabao Cup in his first season and finished second to Manchester City in 2017/2018.

“There are still people in that club, and when I say people I mean some players.

“But also some other people that are not players, that are still there when I told [United] after two months: ‘With these people, you are never going to do it’. And they are still there,” Mourinho told John Obi Mikel’s Obi One podcast.
