Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface is in the running for the Emerging Player of the Year at the 2023 Globe Soccer Awards.
Twenty-five other players are also in contention for the award.
Moisés Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Cesare Casadei, Rasmus Højlund, Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Güler , Jude Bellingham, Alejandro Balde, Pedri, Lamine Yamal and Gavi are among the players nominated for the award.
Jamal Musiala, Evan Ferguson, Joško Gvardiol, Jeremy Doku and Xavi Simons are also in contention for the individual accolade.
Boniface has been in fantastic form for Bayer Leverkusen this season.
He has scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 16 games in all competitions for Leverkusen this season.
The 22-year-old was named Bundesliga Player of the Month for August and has won the Rookie of the Month prize for three consecutive months.
His compatriot Victor Osimhen won the award last season.
