EPL: Micah Richards makes title prediction

Former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards has made a Premier League title prediction.

Richards reckons Liverpool are more likely to win the 2023-2024 Premier League title than Arsenal.

Liverpool are second in the Premier League standings with 27 points from 12 games, just one point behind leaders Manchester City.

The Reds are level on points with Arsenal and are only ahead on goal difference.

Liverpool and Arsenal have won eight matches, drawn three, and lost one so far this season.

Providing his prediction, Richards said on The Rest Is Football podcast (via The Boot Room):

“I would say Liverpool. Just because Salah and by all accounts Van Dijk had a really good game today.”

Meanwhile, Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer agreed with Richards, adding: “He did have a good game. He looked back to his best, he read the game very well. And they are always going to score goals for Liverpool, with the talent they have up top.”
