I Fasted And Prayed Nine Days Before Choosing Nenye As Bridesmaid - Actress Ekene

Nollywood actress, Umenwa Ekene has opened up on how she arrived at fellow actress, Chinenye Nnebe becoming her chief bridesmaid.

According to Ekene, she fasted and prayed for nine days before choosing Nnebe.

Ekene and her fiancé, Alex Kleanson, celebrated their white wedding in Benin City, Edo state on November 4, 2023.

Taking to her Instagram page, Ekene said the best maid of  honour 2023 goes to Nnebe, saying words failed her, but said Jesus never fails.

“Choosing a maid of honour was something I tried doing on my own but it didn’t work because it was never God’s will, then I went into 9 days Novena prayers and fasting (because I wanted the best) and Jesus told me, stand still, let me select the best for you.

“Please stay tune next post is to gist you about this Angel in human form Nenye; if I am a man, I for done marry you, run you are too beautiful, when I mean beautiful both in wisdom, character, personality, physical beauty, elegance, composure, mindset na me and you forever this is post 1.

“Jesus thank you for helping me make the right decision and not letting me follow what I taught was best for me,” she posted on her Instagram page.
