32-year-old Man Arrested For Allegedly R*ping 16-year-old girl Who Got Drunk At A Church Programme In Ogun State

A 32-year-old man identified as Gbenga Kolawole has been arrested by the police after he was accused of having unlawful carnal knowledge of a 16-year-old girl in Ogun state.

A statement released by SP Omolola Odutola, spokesperson of the command, says an aggrieved mother had gone to the police to report that her 16-year-old daughter who got drunk during an annual Church year anniversary celebration on the 6th of November 2023 in Adubi Ogun State, was taken to a nearby bar shop and locked there where the suspect allegedly defiled the drunk girl.

Odutola said he was however caught in the act by one Sunday Ibrahim "m" of same address.

The police spokesperson said the victim has been taken to Ore Ofe Hospital for medical attention and treatment while the suspect has been arrested for Preliminary investigation.
