EPL: Guardiola reveals Man City player to miss Chelsea clash
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has confirmed that John Stones will miss this weekend’s trip to Chelsea.
Stones picked up an injury during their Champions League win over Young Boys in midweek.
He will now miss Super Sunday’s clash at Stamford Bridge, although Guardiola will have Manuel Akanji available.
“He [Stones] is injured, he is not ready for tomorrow and we will see when we come back from the international break.
“I do not know [if he will be ready to face Liverpool after the international break].
“He [Akanji] is good, he trained today and is good [for Sunday],” Guardiola told a press conference on Friday.
