Championship: Ndidi will return after international break – Leicester boss, Maresca

Leicester City manager, Enzo Maresca hopes to have Wilfred Ndidi back in action after the international break.

Ndidi has been sidelined for the past three weeks with a muscle injury.

The 26-year-old last appeared for Leicester City in the 3-1 win at Swansea City on October 21.

The midfielder will also miss Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

Maresca stated that HE is close to a return to action.

[Ndidi and Yunus] are still out. Hopefully, we can have both after the international break,” the Italian told a press conference on Friday.

The former Genk star has scored once in 12 league appearances for the Foxes this season.
