Messi speaks on retirement after winning 2023 Ballon d’Or

Inter Miami forward, Lionel Messi has admitted he does not know if he has a lot left in his playing career.

Messi on Monday, took home a record-extending eighth Ballon d’Or award.

This came months after he finally won the World Cup with Argentina, the only trophy that was missing from his incredible collection of titles.

The 36-year-old is currently under contract with Inter Miami until December 2025.

“I don’t know if I have a lot or a little left, but after the career I’ve had, the only thing I have left is to continue enjoying it.

“As long as I am physically well, I will continue competing, hopefully it will be a long time,” Messi said.
