Meet The Mother Of 2face, The Tafidan Kudenda Of Kudenda Kingdom (Photo)

Rosemary Idibia is the beautiful mum to Nigerian’s singer Innocent Ujah Idibia, who is mostly know for his hit song “African Queen”.

He was recently crowned the Tafidan Kudenda which means Ambassador Of Peace, and we think it will be nice for us to acknowledge this virtous woman who raised such an ambassador.

During Tuface Biography Book (A Very Good Bad Guy) launch at Terra Kulture, It was revealed that the Tafidan Kudendan’s mum never wanted him to be a music artiste.

According to his mum, Mrs. Rosemary Idibia, ‘he was born around 5.30am on the September 18 at OLA hospital in Jos. We did not take note of any special occurrences when he was born except jubilation in the family and congratulations from friends and well-wishers.

The family moved to Makurdi in 1976 after the creation of Benue State from Plateau. His inclination towards music was shown at an early age of five; he would mimic songs from TV and Radio. We hoped he would pursue one of these high sounding professions like law, medicine, banking and so on’

To ensure that this dream of getting a white collar job is kept, 2Face was enrolled at St. Gabriela Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State.

He eventually got admitted to The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) where he did his preliminary National Diploma course in business administration and management, where he eventually dropped out from.

It might seem that the dreams of his mother being a Doctor’s Mum was shattered, but all hopes were not lost.

2face who knew what he wanted and went for it, persevered till he arrived at the point where he needs not to introduce himself.

Now his good works has been recognized by the Kudendan Kingdom as he has been crowned the Tafidan.

We believe his mother, the widow of Michael Idibia, who died late last year, stood by him during all these times, as she was raising a legend. She is definitely a sweet mother just as her name Rosemary.
