NPFL: Ezeh relishes large turnout at Pillars, Katsina United game

Chidera Ezeh says the importance of the rivalry between Katsina United and Kano Pillars is underemphasized.

Katsina United and Kano Pillars rekindled their rivalry in the week two fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Kano Pillars came out victorious in the fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

The Katsina United defender believed that the passion and energy of the spectators were incredible.

“I’ve played in several matches and cities, but the turnout of fans at the Sani Abacha Stadium weekend match was simply unbelievable,” he told DAILY POST.

“Katsina United, Kano Pillars match should always be a standout fixture any day, anytime.

“The passion and energy from the supporters were incredible, and it’s a testament to the fierce rivalry between the two clubs.”
