Gunmen Kill Three In Kaduna Village

Three persons have been killed by gunmen at Geh, Kigam village in Kauru Local Government Area Kaduna.
 
According to the community leaders, the attackers stormed the community at about 8:pm on Monday, September 25, 2023, and opened fire on the residents.
 
The inhabitants of Kigam are mostly Rigwe people.  
 
The National Leadership of the Irigwe Development Association (IDA) in a statement on Tuesday, condemned the unfortunate development and resurgence of the destruction of lives.
 
Prince Robert Ashi Dodo, the IDA National President who described the attack as barbaric, and inhumane, called on the security agencies to immediately swift into action by ensuring that the perpetrators are apprehended and made to face the wrath of law.

While we condole with the immediate families of the deceased and the entire nation, we equally enjoin all to keep vigil and ensure that any irregular sign or movement that is noticed, a quick report should be done to forestall further occurrence." - Prince Ashi said.
 
 The victims have been identified as Sunday Gizindi, 49, Danjuma Alah, 43, and Martina Ishaya, 48, a mother of three.
 
Those injured are Victor Timothy, 25, Yohanna Ishaya, and Monday Kiri.
