EPL: Top player, he’s Grealish, Maddison type – Joe Cole lauds Chelsea winger

Former Chelsea ace, Joe Cole has heaped praises on Cole Palmer, comparing the 21-year-old to Manchester City’s Jack Grealish and Tottenham Hotspur’s James Maddison.

Cole said Palmer has a lovely balance, describing him as a top player.

Recall that Chelsea signed Palmer from Manchester City over the summer transfer window.

Palmer can play as a No. 10 as well as out wide just like Grealish and Maddison.

“He is the Jack Grealish, James Maddison type,” Palmer told TNT Sports, via Football London.

“He’s got lovely balance, a lovely left foot. I have watched him mainly playing off the right, coming in on his left foot.

“But he could play as a 10. He can float anywhere in the final third, but he is just a player that makes an impact. He is a top, top player.”
