Lobi Stars adopt Lafia City Stadium as home ground for new season

Lobi Stars have adopted the Lafia City Stadium as their home ground for the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The Lafia City Stadium is the home ground of relegated Nasarawa United.

The Makurdi-based outfit’s original ground, the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi is undergoing renovation.

The Benue State Sports commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon Terkimbir Ikyange, alongside the Lobi Stars management made an on-sight check of the facility.

Lobi Stars played the 2022-23 NPFL season at the New Jos Stadium, Plateau State.

Lobi Stars are currently without a coach after the resignation of Bala Abubakar barely two months of joining the club.
