Rivers United, Heartland clash in friendly
Rivers United will face Heartland in a pre-season friendly game on Saturday (today).
The warm-up match is aimed at intensifying both teams preparations for the 2023-24 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The encounter is billed for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
The game will also serve as part of Rivers United’s preparation for the CAF Confederation Cup clash against Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso.
Rivers United finished third in the NPFL last season.
Heartland on the other hand are back in the top-flight after winning the Nigeria National League title last season.
