Transfer: Kalu off to Swiss club, Lausanne on loan

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu has joined Swiss club, Lausanne-Sport from Watford on a season-long loan deal.

The loan deal also included a purchase option.

Kalu will wear jersey number 22 at his new club.

The 26-year-old joined Watford from Ligue 1 club, Girondis Bordeaux in January 2022.

The Nigerian has, however, struggled with injuries and managed just 13 league appearances for the Hornets.

Kalu is expected in Switzerland once he gets his visa.

He previously played in Slovakia for AS Trencin and Belgian Pro League club, KAA Gent.
