Enyimba’s African Football League participation excites Eze

Pascal Eze has described Enyimba’s selection for the inaugural edition of the African Football League as historic.

The two-time CAF Champions League winners alongside seven other clubs will participate in the competition.

Enyimba will face Wydad Casablanca in the quarter-finals of the competition.

The reigning Nigeria Professional Football League champions will host the first-leg encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Enyimba defender, Eze hinted that the players are ready to embrace the challenge.

He added that the competition is an opportunity for the players to make history with the club.

Enyimba will begin their campaign in the competition on October 22.
