Senth is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer who came to prominence after being signed to YBNL Record label owned by music artist Olamide. He became known for his single “Dagger” which was accompanied with a music video as directed by TG Omori.

Early Life

Senth was born Ernest Nwokedi Felix in 1995. He was born in Niger State, where he had his early childhood. He is originally from Enugu, Eastern part of Nigeria. He is from the Igbo tribe and from a Christian background.

He had his basic education in Niger State, and also further his studies at the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, in Niger State.

Career

Senth had passion for music at a very early stage. It first started in the church where he would observe the choir sing several worship songs.

He came through professionally in music in the year 2020, after relocating to Lagos to pursue his music career. He has done lots of covers and underground records.

He was signed by Olamide’s YBNL in November 2022. YBNL is already a home to the likes of Asake and Fireboy DML. Singers, Adekunle Gold and Lil Kesh were also part of the label before they left to float their own record label.

He came through with his debut project titled “Senth of Her”. The extended project comprises of 5 tracks with features from the likes of Fave and Mayorkun. He produced the track 1 and 5 on the EP. Track 2 was produced by Big Bad Beat, track 3 produced by YUK. He released the lead single off the project titled “Dagger”. Other songs on the project include Don’t Care, Senthololo, So Fine, and So Sweet.
