Born Lyle Bent Foster on September 3, 2000 in Soweto, South Africa. He went to the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, North West University.
Career
Foster began his career at the youth level with Orlando Pirates and was promoted to the first team for the 2017-18 season.
He joined Monaco in January 2019 and later went on a season long loan to the Belgian side Cercle Brugge on August 30, 2019.
He signed for Vitoria de Guimaraes on August 13, 2020 and also went on a season long loan to Westerlo in 2021. He later signed a four-year contract with Westlo in the summer of 2022.
He also signed a four-year contract for Burnley in January 2023.
At the international scene, Foster represented South Africa at the under-17, under-20, and under-23 levels before he was called up to the senior national team in 2019.
