Serie A: Folorunso delighted with chance to play for Hellas Verona

Michael Folorunso is thrilled with the opportunity to play in Serie A with Hellas Verona.

Folorunso recently joined the Flying Donkeys from Napoli on a season-long loan deal.

The 25-year-old failed to make a single league appearance during his four-year stay at Napoli.

The midfielder made his Serie A debut for Verona in the 1-0 away win at Empoli two weeks ago.

Folorunso, who was unveiled by Verona on Monday has positive things to say about his new club.

“The impact was wonderful, I’m happy to have confidence from the coach, the Director, and the President, I thank them all for this and I hope to repay this confidence on the pitch.

“It’s my first experience in Serie A, and I really want to do well. I feel ready for the category. Mister Baroni counted a lot in my choice, he made the most of me in the past, I know his work and I know how much he can get out of each of us.”

Verona has a hundred percent record in Serie A this season.

They will take on Sassuolo in their next league game this weekend.
