EPL: Aina returns to training ahead Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United

Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina is in contention to face Manchester United in Saturday’s Premier League clash at the Old Trafford.

Aina missed Nottingham Forest’s 2-1 home win against Sheffield United last Friday due to injury.

The Nigeria international is however back in training and is expected to be named in the matchday squad for the trip to the Theatre of Dreams.

Forest manager, Steve Cooper provided an update on the defender’s health status ahead of the game.

“Felipe is back out on the grass training but obviously hasn’t trained or played for months, so he’s not ready. Ola (Aina) is back in part training,” he said.

Aina joined Forest on a free transfer last month after leaving Serie A club, Torino.

The defender made his Premier League debut against Arsenal on matchday one.
