Group hails Adelabu’s ministerial nomination

An Ibadan-based club, Jericho Businessmen Club, has congratulated Bayo Adelabu on his ministerial nomination by President Bola Tinubu.

The President of the club, Remi Babalola, in a congratulatory message he signed on behalf of the club on Monday, said Adelabu’s exemplary performance in his career and service to his people qualified him for a ministerial position to deliver quality service to Nigeria.

The club expressed confidence in Adelabu’s “capacity to deliver” on Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda while thanking the President for finding Adelabu worthy of the appointment.

“As a grandson of the late Chief Adelabu Adegoke ‘Penkelemess’, the ebullient and legendary politician of the First Republic, we are confident of your capacity and capability to deliver on the Renewed Hope of Mr President.

“We also use this opportunity to thank Mr President for appointing Chief Adelabu from the lots considered from Oyo State.

“He is no doubt a guru in financial matters and economic development and would be a round peg in a round hole.

“It is our prayer that he succeeds in all responsibilities assigned to him and justifies the trust and confidence of the President and Nigerians in the new assignment,” the group said.
