EPL: Fabinho’s transfer to Saudi Arabia delayed because of dogs

The transfer of Liverpool midfielder Fabinho from the Premier League to the Saudi Pro League is being delayed because of the player’s dogs.

A story on talkSPORT said the £40 million deal is being held up because French bulldogs are banned in Saudi Arabia.

Fabinho’s two beloved pups are French bulldogs.

Saudi Arabia classify the dogs as “dangerous and aggressive” and are not permitted into the country.

However, other reports claim that Al-Ettifaq boss, Steven Gerrard had the same problem.

Gerrard was said to have encountered similar glitches when he was signing for Al Ettifaq as their new manager.

The former Liverpool captain’s dogs were finally permitted.
