RCCG to send forth Ogun zonal pastor, others

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Emmanuel Zone, under Ogun Province 3, is set to send forth its zonal pastor of six years, Adetunji Oladayo.

The church made this known in a statement on Friday. It noted that the ceremony would take place on Sunday, where Oladayo, his wife, Olufunke, and a former Area pastor, Henry Afuape, would be sent forth.

The church said Oladayo and his wife made “giant strides” during their six years in charge of the zone, adding that at the zonal headquarters, Emmanuel Parish, he championed the building project of the church, transforming it from a tent to a proper structure.

The new presiding pastor in charge of Emmanuel Zone, Abiodun Layinka, noted that “all the workers in the zone are excited to stage a befitting send forth for Pastor Oladayo.”

He added, “I am happy that this is happening, it is like going back home for me because it is rare for any pastor to spend six years in a particular zone or parish.”

Alongside Layinka, others co-hosting the event are the pastor in charge of Peace Assembly Area, Olaolu Ibitoye, and the pastor-in-charge of Ogun Province 3, Adeola Adenuga.
