Messi vs Ronaldo: Rodrygo chooses better player

Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has chosen the better player between Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi and Ronaldo have dominated the football stage for over 15 years.

The duo have won 12 Ballon d’Or awards among themselves in the past.

However, Rodrygo was asked to pick his preferred player between both forwards, and the Brazilian chose Real Madrid legend Ronaldo over Messi, who spent the majority of his career for Los Blancos’ arch-rivals Barcelona.

“Messi or Ronaldo? Ronaldo,” Rodrygo said (via Madrid Zone).

Rodrygo joined Real Madrid from Santos in 2019 for €45 million.

He did not have the opportunity to share the pitch with Ronaldo, who now plays for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
