Transfer: Cremonese set €6m price tag on Okereke

Italian club, Cremonese want €6m to sell their Nigerian forward, David Okereke, according to reports.

Cremonese are open to selling Okereke following their relegation from Serie A last season.

The Tigers want to make back the fee they paid Belgian Pro League side, KRC Genk for the player last summer.

Premier League new boys Burnley and Turkish Super Lig giants, Besiktas have expressed interest in the striker.

Besiktas had a €4m offer rejected early this month.

Burnley are however willing to pay €6m and could close the deal in the next few days.

Okereke scored seven goals in 33 appearances for Cremonese last season.

He is under contract at the club until 2025.
