Transfer: You need him – Agbonlahor advises Chelsea on striker to sign

Former Aston Villa captain, Gabby Agbonlahor has urged Chelsea to sign Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen this summer.

Agbonlahor believes it would be hard for Chelsea to finish in the Premier League top four next season if they do not sign Osimhen.

Chelsea have already signed forwards Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku but Agbaonlahor believes Mauricio Pochettino’s side needs a proper striker.

“They [Chelsea] still need a proper striker,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.

“Victor Osimhen would be good, but I think they are talking around £170m for him, which is too much.

“But I do feel that Chelsea need more as every team is improving.

“Villa will be there next season, so will Brighton so it will be harder for Chelsea to break into the top four, and that is the minimum for Chelsea with the amount of money they spent.”
