Transfer: Inter Milan picks goalkeeper to sign as Onana’s replacement

Inter Milan has identified Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer as a potential replacement for their goalkeeper Andre Onana.

The Nerazzurri’s are preparing for the likely departure of Onana, who is set to join Manchester United following David de Gea’s departure from Old Trafford, by lining up a bid for Sommer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Inter Milan could sign Sommer for around €6 million deal this summer transfer window.

Sommer only joined Bayern Munich in January this year from Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 34-year-old keeper replaced Manuel Neuer after the German sustained injury last season.

Sommer won the Bundesliga title in his first season at Bayern.

After 19 league appearances for Bayern, Sommer could be heading to Italy this summer to join Inter.
