Rangers inaugurate recruitment committee ahead of new season

Rangers have inaugurated an 11-man committee to handle the recruitment of players for the forthcoming Nigeria Premier League season.

Former Super Eagles Coach Christian Chukwu will serve as the Chairman of the Committee alongside Obiora Obuna who will be the secretary.

The Administrative Secretary of the club, Ferdinand Ugwuarua charged the Committee to come up with their best contributions in ensuring that the best legs are recruited to defend the colours of the club in all competitions ahead of the new season.

“The recommendations of this committee will help the coaches in their task of leading Rangers to a trophy-laden season,” he stated during a ceremony at the club House in Enugu.

“Rangers deserve the best and it is my belief that this committee will come up with the best advice regarding players’ recruitment.

“The government of the day is positively disposed towards making Rangers regain its glory.”

New and old players of the team are expected back in camp next week.
