Federal Polytechnic, Idah notice on mid semester break

As you are aware, renovation work has commenced in student hostels with the intent of not disrupting academic activities. On the commencement of the renovation however, some unforeseen challenges emerged which would delay the completion of the project within the stipulated period. 

In view of the above, the Rector on behalf of the Academic Board approved a Mid-Semester Break of two weeks with effect from Monday 10th July, 2023.

All students residing in the hostels are requested to vacate all halls of residence NOT LATER THAN 12:00 MIDWAY OF MONDAY, 10TH JULY, 2023 and ensure they remove all their personal belongings.

Lectures shall however, resume on Monday 24th July, 2023. All inconveniences this decision will cause our highly esteemed students are highly regretted, please.
