Transfer: New PSG manager, Luis Enrique speaks on Mbappe leaving club

New manager of Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Enrique, has said “a lot of things can happen” as it concerns the future of Kylian Mbappe at the club.

Mbappe has already sent a written notice to the Ligue 1 giants that he will not be extending his current contract beyond June 2024.

This means that the 24-year-old will become a free agent next summer.

PSG have already warned Mbappe that he must sign a new deal or be sold, but Enrique believes there are options on the table.

“When I signed, we always remained open. A lot of things can happen.

“I will keep it private as it’s professional secrecy.

“I cannot give confidence but we will try to make the best possible squad for PSG,” Enrique said during his unveiling on Wednesday.
