EPL: Gabriel Jesus reveals difference between Arteta, Guardiola

Arsenal striker, Gabriel Jesus has highlighted the difference between manager Mikel Arteta and his former Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola.

Arteta served as Guardiola’s assistant before he was given the Gunners’ role in December 2019.

During his time at the Etihad, Arteta also worked with Jesus, in what was a huge successful period for City.

However, the Spaniard signed Jesus in the summer of 2022 and almost won the Premier League title ahead of Guardiola

Speaking on the Brazilian Podcast with Paulo Filho and Tiago Damulakis, Jesus was asked what it is like working with the two managers.

Jesus noted that apart from experience, “Mikel wants us to be very intense. We have a young squad, so he wants us to be running all the time.”
