Shooting Stars management assures fans of Malomo’s stay in club

The management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, has assured the teaming fans of the club that mercurial midfielder, Taofeek Malomo will remain with the team.

Malomo has been linked with a move to Akwa United and Bendel Insurance.

The Oluyole Warriors officials stated that 3SC has not been approached by any club for the signature of the former Joy Cometh FC player.

The General Manager of the club, Dimeji Lawal insisted that Malomo remain a Shooting Stars player.

“I want to assure you and all our teeming fans that Malomo is still with us and we will do everything possible to keep him,” he said during a media parley in Ibadan.

“We knew we performed below the belt in the just concluded season, and we use this medium to tender our apology to the government and people of Oyo State and our backers across the globe.

“We have already commenced moves to have a better outing next season and I can tell you that with what we are working on, we will surely deliver.”

The Shooting Stars finished the 2022-23 NPL season in sixth position.
