Former home-Eagles forward, Adeniji targets NPL return

Al-Tadamon of Kuwait striker Tunde Adeniji has revealed that he will end his playing career in the Nigeria Premier League.

Adeniji stated that it would be an honour to play in the NPL before he quit football.

The forward, however, disclosed that he currently has offers from Europe, Saudi Arabia and the Middle East ahead of next season.

“I still have unfinished business in the Nigeria Premier League,” Adeniji told DAILY POST.

“I have already made up my mind to play one or two seasons in Nigeria Premier League before I stop playing.

“There are offers from Europe, Saudi Arabia and the Middle East ahead of next season.”

Adeniji came to the limelight with Sunshine Stars during the 2013-14 NPL season.

He moved to Europe in 2016 to join Bulgarian side Levski Sofia.
