Aliko Dangote Donates N100M to Boko Haram Victims
The Dangote Foundation has donated N100 million to persons affected by the Boko Haram insurgency in the Northeast. This was disclosed by the foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Zouera Youssouffou during an advocacy and fund raising ceremony recently organised by Daily Trust in Abuja. Mrs Youssouffou said further that the amount had been donated due to the concern of billionaire, Aliko Dangote, for Nigeria’s Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
Meanwhile, some IDPs recently held a protest to condemn the living conditions in the camps where they were being housed.
