Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi equalled Barcelona legend Dani Alves’ record as the most decorated player in the history of football.
Messi and Alves have now won 43 trophies in their club careers.
The Argentine achieved the feat after leading PSG to win the French Ligue 1 title on Saturday night.
PSG won the Ligue 1 title for the 11th time following a 1-1 draw against Strasbourg in the league.
Messi scored in the 59th minute for the Parisians.
He has won the FIFA World Cup and Copa America once, La Liga ten times, Ligue 1 twice, UEFA Champions League thrice, FIFA Club World Cup thrice, UEFA Super Cup thrice, French Super Cup once, Finalissima once, Copa del Rey seven times, and Supercopa de Espana eight times.
