45 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested In Ogun

45 alleged internet fraudsters in Ogun State have been arrested by the operatives of the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

They were arrested in Ijebu-Ode following intelligence on their alleged fraudulent internet-related activities.

Those arrested include Ogundiya Alex Olusegun, Ogunnusi Oluwaseunfunmi Akorede, Idor Ndubuisi Samuel, Bakare Idowu Ayomide, Oduntan Durojaiye Oluwaseun, Nurudeen Olalekan Quam, Bakare Taiwo Adewale and Aiyeloja Ridwan Oluwatobi.

Others are Owolabi Imoleayo Sodiq, Samod Tijani Owolabi, Abulele Joshua Osas, Agbolade Mayowa Oluwafemi, Olusoga Ridwan Oluwatobi, Fetuga Olajide Abiodun, Agbolade Bukola, Odude Ayomide Micheal, Adesanya Olamilekan, Badaru Damilare Micheal and Bashir Sodiq Omobolaji.

The list contains the names of 26 others.

Items recovered from the suspects include 16 exotic cars, several mobile phones, laptops and watches among others.

They will be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded, EFCC stated.
