Police Spokesman Reacts To Offensive Tweet Against Igbos In South-West

The Nigerian Police has reacted after a man posted an offensive tweet about Igbos living in the South West.

In a now deleted post, a Twitter user, Kehinde Adesoga Adekusibe with the handle @GideonAdekusibe incited hatred against Igbos by calling on his followers to kill Igbos in their region.

 

He tweeted:

Reacting, Twitter user, @IsraelAmadi1 called the attention of the police to the offensive tweet and wrote:

 

"Let me kukuma release his twit and his more details. If #nigeriaDSS can pick @chude__ why can't they do same to him

Like and RT until Security agencies do the needful"

Reacting, PPRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the issue has been reported to the Lagos State Police command for necessary action.

He wrote:

"I have forwarded this to the lagos state command for necessary action. Thanks."
