Ashleigh Plumptre reveals her favourite Nigerian food
Leicester City and Super Falcons defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has revealed her favourite Nigerian food.
The former England youth star disclosed that moin-moin (steamed bean pudding) is her favourite Nigerian meal.
She sat down with Kelly Somers of Optus Sports recently.
She said, “Whenever I’m asked of a favourite Nigerian food, this is it [moin-moin]. And everytime I have had it so much that it’s not at home, it always looks different. But it always tastes very good.”
Waploaded reported that Plumptre recently revealed that she chose to represent Nigeria ahead of England because she wanted to uncover more about her heritage.
She made her debut for the Super Falcons of Nigeria in February, 2022.
