The four players are Aaron Ramsdale, Gabriel, Martin Odegaard, and Bukayo Saka.

Kanu also said that Arsenal need to bolster their squad in “almost every position” ahead of their return to the UEFA Champions League next season.

“Next season, Arsenal will make their big comeback in the [UEFA] Champions League,” Kanu told Bettors.

“The squad needs to be even broader next season because the Champions League takes a lot of grit. Almost every position should be doubled [in strength].

“You can see now that when a regular player is out of action for a few weeks, like William Saliba, then it gets a bit difficult for the squad.

“I hope the current group will continue for a few more years, especially [Aaron] Ramsdale, Gabriel, [Martin] Odegaard, and [Bukayo] Saka.

“These are young and extremely talented players who identify fantastically with the club.”

Arsenal currently sits in second place on the Premier League table, behind leaders Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta’s side will face Newcastle United in their next game on Sunday evening.
