EPL: Absolute disgrace – Neville slams Chelsea stars after latest defeat

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has slammed Chelsea players, describing them as disgusting, shambles, pathetic and a disgrace.

This was following their latest woeful 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Tuesday

Martin Odegaard (2), and Gabriel Jesus scored in the first half to give the Gunners a comfortable lead. Noni Madueke grabbed a consolation goal for the Blues on the night.

It was Chelsea’s sixth consecutive defeat in six games under Lampard.

Neville, a former Manchester United defender, was disgusted with Chelsea’s performance at the Emirates Stadium.

“Disgusting. It was the best team on paper I’ve ever seen play as badly as that. It was a shambles in the first half. Pathetic,” he told Sky Sports.

“There were World Cup winners, internationals, so expensive – I can’t believe it.

“What we’ve seen since is nothing short of a disgrace.”
