Ikpeazu, others eulogise late PDP gov candidate

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has described a former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, the late Prof Uche Ikonne, as an “excellent scholar and administrator”.

Ikpeazu said this on Friday during the burial of the deceased in Agburuike village, Nsulu community, in the Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of the state. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Ikonne died on January 25 after a brief illness at the age of 66.

Ikpeazu said the deceased lived a life worthy of emulation, adding that he impacted the lives of people that interacted with him.
